Plan Distribution

Finding the perfect home can often prove rather challenging. While every new home hunt always starts off with such anticipation of finding the perfect home with everything you are looking for, the fact of the matter is the chances of you actually locating a home that fits all of your needs is simply slim to none. Whether you want a set number of bedrooms, a fireplace or two, sunroom overlooking a large yard or specific amenities and fixtures inside of the home, checking off every one of these features is incredibly difficult, which is why you might want to look towards constructing your very own home. While not for everyone, this method ensures the home is not only constructed to your specifications, but you can have a say in the building material, how it looks and even the final paint color, so by the time construction has finished it is turn-key ready and you don’t have to worry about a thing. When this is what you want, let Berardo Homes satisfy your needs. You just need to know some information about the plan distribution ahead of time.

Initial Meeting

The initial meeting consists of you explaining your dream home. You detail the size of your house, what you want to find inside, the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, where you want these located and even other, smaller features. it is your chance to completely indicate what you want in a home with the construction firm. During this initial meeting, you need to have a general budget in place so the construction team knows what to work for. This way, they can tell you exactly how much is probably and what you might need to alter slightly in order to obtain your dream home. By providing this information along with your personal blueprints, Berardo Homes can get to work designing your home.

Blueprints

After the initial consultation, Berardo Homes can get back to you, sit you down and go over the early blueprints. They can point out where everything is, the amenities your home features and even construction material. If you want a specific material that might push the project over budget, the team can suggest something similar that has the same affect, but helps keep it in the target budget (if you have one). You might have one or two more rounds of the blueprints until everything is solidified and approved, but once you agree to the blueprint and sign off on it, construction can begin. It is important to note though that once construction begins, just about everything outside of maybe a few cosmetic changes is locked into place and major changes cannot be made to the blueprints.

Construction

The construction time table is created and you are going to receive a general outline of when different elements of the construction should be completed. Scheduled visits to the construction can be scheduled as well, so you can see the progress. With the construction schedule, you can see how far along the project is and, eventually once it is all completed. Once construction is finalized you just need to wait for inspections from the city and you are ready to move into your new home.
